WOLF//OVERRIDE

Chapter walkthrough

Optional puzzle help for the maintenance corridor and Records Access in the current source chapter.

Puzzle solutions ahead. This covers the two playable source rooms. It does not reveal future chapters or campaign endings. For a lighter introduction, use Start here.

Route: Breaker → Coolant relay → Safe point → Purge queue → Mirror port → Exit.

1. Read the corridor

After the opening, move the engineer with A/D or the arrow keys. An interaction prompt appears near a station. At the far-left red PURGE DISPLAY, E reads optional context; this is not needed to open the door.

All keys here are defaults. Use your rebound interaction/choice controls if you changed them in Settings.

2. Arm the breaker

Move right to the amber BREAKER. Interact to hear WOLF's concern about coolant risk. Choose answer 1 or 2, then interact again to arm power.

The answer changes his response at the relay and is remembered later. Repeated station use does not add duplicate consequences.

3. Open the sealed door

Continue right to the blue COOLANT RELAY.

WOLF-assisted path

If you chose 1, telling WOLF about the risk, stand toward the relay's right side and interact. He needs room to reach his contact. If he asks for space, move a few steps right while the relay prompt stays visible, then interact again.

Engineer-only path

If you chose 2, pressing WOLF to act, interact to hear his refusal. Interact again to perform the engineer's manual bypass.

Both paths open the door and let you continue. You never switch to controlling WOLF.

4. Use the safe point

Walk through the door to the green SAFE POINT and interact. WOLF recalls the answer from this run, and the checkpoint saves positions, door state, display name, and memory.

Interact again to enter Records Access. A valid checkpoint enables Continue on the title. L/F9 restores it during play.

5. Preserve the first copy

WOLF heads toward the mirror independently while you keep control of the engineer.

  1. Interact with the PURGE QUEUE on the left to copy its trace.
  2. Interact with the MIRROR PORT in the middle. Choose 1 when WOLF is ready to use his readout, or 2 for the manual maintenance port. If he is still checking, wait or use the manual option.
  3. Move to the EXIT on the right and interact. The shutter opens when the first copy is secured. Advance the closing beat to return to control.

The preserved traces are a first lead. A full investigation is still future work. Continue restores saved chapter progress.

After the slice

You can revisit the room, return to the title through Pause, or start another run to try the other response. New Game clears the current timeline; it retains the previous checkpoint until the new run saves over it.

If you are stuck, Controls and settings has recovery tips. Development status explains which routes have automated checks and which still need hands-on play.
